Will awards and prizes be mailed or given out after race day?

Finisher medals, prize money and award labels must be picked up at the finisher area by 11:30 AM. Prizes will not be mailed or distributed after race day.

What are the age groups?

(top 3 in each Male & Female age group)

19 & under

20 - 24

25 - 29

30 - 34

35 - 39

40 - 44

45 - 49

50 - 54

55 - 59

60 - 64

65 - 69

70 & Over

What awards are given at the race?

The top three overall Male and Female finishers receive monetary awards ($200-$150-$100) as well as labels to be added to their finisher medal. The top three Masters (40+) Male and female finishers receive monetary awards ($100-$75-$50) and labels for their finisher medal. Masters may double dip in the overall awards of money and labels. Overall and Masters winners are NOT eligible for Age Group awards. Top three male and female finishers in each age group will receive a label to add to your finisher medal. $100 for an Overall Course Record. We don’t track Masters records.

Do you allow for bib transfers or provide refunds if I am not able to run the race for any reason?

No, bib transfers are not permitted and refunds are not provided if you become unable to run the race.

Why run a half marathon in March?

A half marathon in mid-to-late March is a good long run for a Spring marathon.

What is the course like?

The course is on rolling country roads with a couple challenging hills.

Do all finishers receive a finisher's medal?

Yes, all finishers will receive a unique finisher's medal for the Chambersburg Half Marathon.
